Sonic Generations isn't my favorite Sonic game, however, I am very interested to see the new Shadow content. Seeing Black Doom in an official game trailer was shocking to me since I can't recall Sega acknowledging the 2005 Shadow game aside from the Twitter Takeovers. What do other Sonic fans think?

It's fine, kind of reminds me of bowsers fury where you're mostly getting a remaster with a small expansion.

Sonic generations still plays really well so as long as they don't screw it up on the technical side it'll be fine. Also if they don't do classic shadow it'll be a missed opportunity.

It's certainly interesting, and I'm sure I'll pick it up just because I think Sonic Generations was a pretty OK game that came out amidst a sea of awful Sonic things. But that being said, this doesn't have my interest in the same way something like the Bowser's Fury add-on did, likely as while I like the character of Shadow, I was never a fan of that 2005 game. Still, the novelty that goes into the nostalgia of acknowledgement unfortunately will get me in to grabbing it in the same way that Mighty and Ray got me to immediately grab Sonic Mania Plus.

Being a Sonic fan is exhausting.

Generations was good, but man I wish we got an Unleashed remaster instead. Really loved that one on 360. Didn't mind the werewolf sections since I do like those kinds of combat-oriented games, but those daytime levels? MAN. Peak modern Sonic in my opinion.

I heard it was! Might have to check it out next time I'm craving a Sonic game, that and Project-06. :)

Looks cool and I'm glad that my favorite Sonic game is more accessible though I'm not sure I'll buy considering that I've played the PC version to death and it doesn't look like the visuals have changed much. Really depends on how the Shadow stuff turns out and pricing. And I'll second that Unleashed Project is awesome, especially being someone who didn't like the Werehog.

The reveal was very good reminding me of the good ol Sega Days.
