Description

This stack contains all of the games I've completed in some capacity in 2016. I'll try to update it as I continue to complete games :D

The Howler

This was the first game I completed in 2016 and it was for a bounty. It had a rather large difficulty spike for two levels about halfway through the game, but I stuck with it. It was an okay game.

Turok (2015)

Ah, Turok! This was the first game I bought for N64 back in the '90s and I never managed to finish it since once I got hooked on Goldeneye, well...that was it. I really enjoyed this version since it made it playable by today's standards without tinkering with the gameplay really at all. I found all of the secrets and unlocked all achievements, so this one is Completionated!

Kung-Fu Master

I've always loved this game, even if it's super simple. This was just a single run through the game.

Mushihimesama

Pretty fun shoot 'em up, not much else to say.

Shaq Fu

Yep, it's pretty bad.

Astal

When I purchased my Saturn, it came with a Bootleg Sampler which included a few demos and some videos of various games. One of those games was Astal and I was immediately intrigued by its very cool hand-drawn artwork and graphics. I've had this one in my collection for a while now, but I never actually finished it...until now. It's fairly short, but it has some really tough levels / bosses. I'm definitely past my platformer prime :P

Brave Fencer Musashi

I played the demo of this a looooong time ago, but this was my first time actually trying the full game. It hooked me pretty much right from the beginning. It's a little rough around the edges by today's standards, but it's still worth checking out if you want a more light-hearted action / RPG / Zelda style adventure.

Gunman Clive

I knew nothing about this game going in, but it had positive reviews and was supposed to be short. I was pleasantly surprised to find out it's a rather enjoyable game! It had some challenging segments, but it never felt frustrating, which is a very good thing. I also really liked the art style.
