Gonna take a stab at doing normal again without continues, but unless anyone objects, I'll call that done.

Wow, you're a lot better at this game than I am! I don't think I even came close to beating it on Normal (assuming that's the difficulty I selected .)

Normal is the one where you play as Arle . In easy you play as Draco and there is only three stages. Draco's mode is so easy that it's more of a score attack/practice mode.

To get through the game on normal, there's pretty much only two things you need to know how to do:
Set up a 5+ chain if you can
If they send you garbage, counter to generate suns, then clear the suns with the last link of a 2 or 3 chain. That will be enough to generate a red garbage puyo, which very few of the opponents can recover from.
The rest is just keeping your pace up, knowing when to do switch between the strategies, and clearing garbage as you play.

If you're getting stuck on a specific level before Witch, it's because you're they're testing you for a skill/response to beat certain behaviors, if you're making it to Witch or after you just kind of have to adapt and try to keep the pressure on.

The end of hard mode is kind of brutal. Most of the continues I would blame more on just the pace at which the Puyo fall rather than the difficulty of the AI.

Also it seems the forum doesn't support Japanese characters, so you'll just have to figure out who's who by yourself.
