Broken? I copy\paste my collection but it doesn't find any games. It should be 330..

Hmm..it should be working. If you send me an email with the text you're pasting, I'll debug it and figure out what's happening.

It worked for me... it even pointed out a mistake I made in that I own the game Evolva on GoG, not Evolve. :)

It's not working for me, either. I'll email you with my list, but it's finding nothing instead of 332 games.

@penumbren - Are you using Chrome, by chance? If so, that appears to be the issue. It puts some extra line breaks in that I had not accounted for. If you use Firefox, it should work fine. I'm going to modify it to support Chrome, but for now, that should at least let you get your games loaded.

-1 for me and lazy testing :P

I do indeed use Chrome! I copied the info over from Firefox and it worked just fine. Thanks very much! The import makes it much easier.

FYI, the list of games it said weren't in the database were all listed as "+1 DLC" (Blackguards, Wasteland 2, etc.), had a date after the name (STAR WARS: Tie Fighter (1994)), the punctuation mark(s) didn't match (Gothic 3: Forsaken Gods Enhanced Edition), or were individual games or episodes that are in the system as compilations (Supreme League of Patriots episodes, Ys I, Ys II). The only exceptions were Jack Keane 2: The Fire Within and Summoner, which are in the system and I'm not sure why they didn't get matched. All of them were games I already had listed, so I suppose the biggest problem is the annoyance for you getting the notification that they're missing when they really aren't.

Copied the list from Firefox into Chrome and that works :-) Just don't copy from Chrome I guess :D

The "+1 DLC" thing was an unexpected occurrence with the import. I didn't have any of those games in my library, so I had no idea GOG listed them like that. I'd like to put something a little more sophisticated in to handle those, but for now, I've added the ones that I've seen thus far. GOG also does some weird stuff where they break out compilation games, so the text doesn't match what's in the store (Ys 1 and 2 is an example of this). I think I've addressed most of the issues I've seen thus far and also added the truly missing games (i.e. Jack Keane 2 and Summoner). The missing ones were due to them not being available on GOG anymore, so I didn't know they needed to be added. Anyways, you should be able to run it again and it will do a much better job :)

Go figure they'd change how they're handling their compilation games right after you implement your gog import feature. Wouldn't be so bad if they changed them all at once, but they're apparently going to be separating different compilations into individual games over the next while. Hopefully it won't make too big a mess of people's collections!

I'm thinking the main impetus behind this change was the GoG Galaxy client. The main reason it seemed to not include certain games was because they were compilations.

I updated the import mappings to account for the compilation game changes. The import SHOULD be checking before it tries to add a duplicate game in your collection, regardless of the mapping. If anyone finds anything weird happening, definitely let me know!

One issue I've noticed... if you've hidden a game, the GoG Import thinks "Show Hidden Games" or somesuch is a game that needs to be added.

Just because I got the Leisure Suit Larry collection, it doesn't mean I want a game called "Softporn Adventure" sitting in the middle of my library. :)

The GOG import should work in Chrome now, let me know if you have any issues with it.

Well, I figured this would happen when Galaxy was released, but the GOG import does NOT work anymore. And I'm not sure I can easily make it work, due to the changes GOG made. I'll probably turn off the feature for the time-being :(

Will the new list form of the library work? You'd have to do it a page at a time, but I just checked and you can still copy and paste the info - it doesn't really look like it's being selected, but it is. Very sad if you have to get rid of it already!

Hmm...I tried it earlier in Firefox and it didn't select everything, but I just tried it in Chrome and it seemed to copy the games. I'll have to modify the import to handle the new format (it puts some junk at the beginning and end), but I think I can salvage it...even if it's only going to work in Chrome.

Just found this site, and I like it more than the other similar sites I've looked at. Any luck with the GOG import? I just tried using chrome, but I didn't any games for importing or missing.

Thanks!

@taranwanderer - Hello and welcome to the site, glad to hear you like it!

I haven't been able to work on the site in a couple of weeks, but I'm glad you posted here to remind me to get a fix in for this. I just put in a quick fix so it at least works in Chrome and I think I'm going to wait until GOG Galaxy development slows down before implementing a permanent fix. Let me know if you have any issues with it!

Oh and feel free to invite others to the site :D

@johnnyd1988 - Could you send what you're copying / pasting to me at info@completionator.com? Chrome seems to be working for me and I'm on version 43.0.2357.81 m (just in case version matters).
