On the detail page, you have a link to view any copies in your collection ("in my collection" link). Can you add the number of copies you own? like "2 copies in my collection" or "not in my collection", or simpler (in my collection (0)

This sounds like a good idea to me and it should be pretty easy to implement. I'll replicate the change on the search page as well. I know there was some feedback before about showing information (platform, perhaps?) with this link and that would require a bit more work (especially on the search page, since I'd have to hit the database again each time, given the way the results work). But I think showing the count would be a nice first step.

Do you have any issues with it continuing to NOT show up if it's not in your collection? I generally use this text as a visual indicator and if it shows up for every game, my brain has to process the text for each entry :P I'm not sure if others are using it this way though, so I might be the oddball.

I'm in the same boat as moho_00 regarding the "visual indicator" thing. I'd prefer if nothing showed up if it's not in my collection rather than explicitly telling me I have 0 copies. Voidspace implies zero and requires no mental effort to compute.

There are far too many games on this site that I have zero copies of, I might add. >:(

Great! And I thought it always showed, regardless if it was in your collection or not but I see I was wrong :)

I finally got around to doing this, let me know what you think! One thing I thought was we might want to just display "in my collection" if you only have one copy. If you have MORE than one, the number would be displayed next to it. Right now, the number ALWAYS shows up and most of the time it's going to be "(1)".

Looks fine as is, but if you eventually wanna strip out the (1) for games we only have a single copy of, I won't complain :)

Is there a way to change the filter defaults when you click on that link for owned copies though? As it works now the default is to not display hidden items, but for those links, I think showing hidden items would be appropriate as you're likely looking for all your copies of the game, regardless if you've hidden some of them (which I do so I don't clutter up my 'general' collection browsing.) Hope that made sense. I'm bad at words. :P

Looking at the new items on the Details page, would it be possible to add some newlines to separate the platforms/publishers/developers when there are multiple? It can cause some confusion with names of unfamiliar publishers the way it's laid out now.

As an example, with 1942 The publishers list looks like this:

Capcom, Romstar Incorporated,
Williams Electronic Games, Inc.

If I didn't know any better, this could appear to be two unique entries and I'd be wondering what division of Capcom was called Romstar Inc.

edit: Had the wrong game listed, but point still stands :P

That's a good point regarding the hidden games, I hadn't thought of that before. I'll take care of it :D

I agree that the publishers and developers can be difficult to read when there are multiples. I'll modify it so they're displayed on separate lines. I'll go ahead and apply this to the other stuff as well, but the page will probably get a little taller as a result. If that causes an issue, I think we could use icons and display them on a single row for the play modes to at least keep those from taking up so much space. (I don't really have any icons, but hopefully I can find some hehe.)

I pushed out an update this morning that addresses these two items. When you click on the "in my collection" link, the hidden games filter should be set such that hidden games are displayed. Also, the details page will now list multiple items (publishers, developers, etc) on separate lines. These were pretty minor changes, but let me know if you see anything wonky!
