So I'm the kind of guy that enjoys digging through crap to find stuff. Lately I've been interested in ordering a bulk blind lot, just some huge cache of unsorted games for me to sort through on arrival.

Is there any good place to buy something like this? Am I alone in this sort of thing?

I've heard of this for stuff like magic cards, but never for video games, but the idea is definitely intriguing. Closest thing I could think of would maybe be yard sales? I once bought a cd-binder with about a dozen games in it, though I was able to flip through it beforehand. Sadly, half the discs were so scratched they were unusable. Never thought to take any out and inspect more carefully, it looked flawless from a casual glance.

I'd be leery of any places that go out of their way to sell bulk/blind anything involving games though, unless you enjoy sifting through a new pile of games the retailer was dumping off because they aren't selling normally. Buddy of mine used to get burned buying Magic cards that way, kept getting terrible cards that were near-worthless since the sellers were keeping all the good ones and selling them individually. Took him 3 failed orders to wisen up and stick to buying boosters if he wanted to "gamble" and buying specific cards to supplement his decks.

If such a thing does exist though, and isn't scammy as all hell (like the magic cards thing above, or gog.com's "mystery" digital game sales bs) I'd be pretty interested too! Sounds like fun :)

I think the closest thing you could get, aside from what Dhobo suggested, would probably be eBay. You could just type in video game lot or something and just decide to bid on whatever one sounds like it has the most but don't actually look at what is in the package.

Other than that, I'm not sure.

I have heard of sites offering bunches of "mystery keys", but I've also heard that if you get, say, 50 keys, you get multiple copies of about 6 games.
