Great update where the genre filter was added. However, if I look for all my Action Shooters then it looks like the filter is applied with OR logica. Somehow I feel an AND would be more appropriate.

Another example: I like to find all my Action Adventure games like X-Blades or Darksiders. Action is too wide as also platformers fall into this category, just adventure comes up with mostly point-and-click stuff. Combined it comes with a mix of everything which is not what I was looking for. I looked for that intersection between those 2 genres, not the expanded collection which is not interesting and returns way too many games (at least with my collection that is ....)

I had a feeling this would pop up :) I set the genre filter up that way since that's how everything else works (except for tags, I think). I'd love to provide flexibility to choose AND or OR on the fly, but I don't have a good UI design in mind and it'd be something I'd want to tackle across the board.

But I definitely see your point on genres since multiple ones can be applied to a game (like tags) and it probably makes more sense to have them work with an AND.

Just did a quick check and AND is applied to both tags and lists and really work well this way.

Also not sure how to fit in a AND\OR into the interface. Perhaps offering an 'apply ANY' option in the list? Just a thought.

I just deployed the change to the genre filter, so it should use an AND now. This change was applied to the Collection Search and Game Search pages. Let me know what you think!
