There are quite a few games coming out soon that I need to find time to play (here's a few):

What about you guys, anything coming out soon that you're looking forward to?

Lots of fun stuff I'd love to get, but budget + backlog have me trimming the list to:

  • Stellaris: Almost out now on steam May 9th, my friend pre-ordered me a copy for my birthday, looking forward to trying this one out.
  • Binding of Isaac: Rebirth: Afterbirth DLC: is out on May 10th for ps4, really looking forward to this one.
  • No Man's Sky: Next month! (Hopefully!)

I haven't decided if I'm going to pick up No Man's Sky on day 1 or not. It looks soooo good, but no preorder discount? Come on! I know, I know, I'm spoiled by the Best Buy GCU / Amazon Prime / GreenManGaming 20% off preorder deals at this point.

@jwcooley, did you play the Doom beta? I heard some mixed reviews, but the game looks good.

I didn't but I thought it was only for the MP experience?

I think it still looks fun. Don't expect it to be a day 1 purchase, but after Steam gets it to a solid discount, I'll pick it up and try it out.

I'm not convinced yet of No Man's Sky. I need more insight and information on what exactly all it is that you actually do in the game. I think it has the potential to be something very interesting, but I'll wait for reviews before determining if it is a game for me or not.

I don't think you tend to enjoy the open-ended type games, so it might not be up your alley :P I still haven't been able to get you to play Minecraft...

And I guess I'll add a new game to my list, ugh! Probably going to buy this tonight, it looks amazing (especially for Early Access). http://store.steampowered.com/app/453090

Wow, that is one heck of a blatant ripoff of Rollercoaster Tycoon, haha. They may as well have taken the original game and put anti-aliasing on it :P

That said, if it plays identically to RC1 with better graphics, I'll be all over this!

Haha that's exactly what I thought! It's basically an HD version of RC 1 and 2. Ummm..YES, PLEASE!! I sunk soooo many hours into those games. The other theme park management games in development look okay, but this one looks like exactly what I want.

Really looking forward to No Man's Sky (gives me an adult-sci-fi Animal Crossing vibe lol) and of course Uncharted 4...cannot WAIT to sink my teeth into that.

Also looking forward to Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE for the WiiU and Zero Time Dilemma for the 3DS at the end of June! BTW has anyone seen the new Persona 5 trailer????

Anyone else picking up Grand Kingdom or the new Star Ocean? I thought I would see if anyone would be up for a bounty :P As a side-note, I've never played a Star Ocean game before and I know this one has received mixed reviews, but it looks like a lot of fun.

I'm tempted by Star Ocean, but a friend of mine is getting it, so I'll wait and see what his impressions are. I can still taste the stink of SO3, so I'm leery as to how the quality of this one will turn out.

From what I've read, it's a fun game, though a bit short by the franchise's standards. I'm okay with that though, the last thing I need is another gigantic RPG...

First time posting here, just gonna say I'm absolutely in love with what's going on here! Going to make sure to stay active and finish my backlog finally!

ON TOPIC: I just added Phantom Brave PC and Disgaea PC to my Wishlist on Steam. Both titles seemed to have been ported very well and have tons of positive reviews. Digaea is a HUGE time sink so I'm going to wait until I finish up some other longer RPGs on the list. Phantom Brave just looks cool, but very similar tactics-style game, so I may end up only going with one of them.

Welcome aboard @AX3LZ3R07, glad you are enjoying Completionator! If you ever have any questions, please feel free to ask!

Just got Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE in the mail yesterday and Zero Time Dilemma is in the mail!! That should keep me busy for a while lol.

My friend is going to lend me Tokyo Mirage Sessions - can't wait!

As for Zero Time Dilemma, it looks so good but I never played the other Zero Escape games... Yes, me, the visual novel-obsessed dude somehow 100% ignored them in their day.

@Marcus I thought of all people I could share my love of the Zero Escape series on here it would be YOU!!! What can we do to rectify this?? In all seriousness though, several reviews I have read said that you don't need to have played the previous 2 to enjoy this one but it still ties up the loose ends for those that did play the previous 2...like me :D

Having played 999 and Virtue's Last Reward, if they treat the plot of the third installment anything like they did going from the first to the second, I would recommend playing them in order. They're supposedly getting a steam release (and possibly a psn release for 999 from what I've read in rumours) so if you can hold out to play those first, you really ought to.

There were definitely some "Whaaaaaat, no way!" moments while I was playing VLR that I wouldn't have had if I hadn't played 999 first.

The sequel to LIMBO, Inside comes out soon...unfortunately not on PS4. IGN (which I take with a grain of salt) reviewed it and gave it a 10/10...and with how much I loved LIMBO I'm sure that this one will be fantastic as well.
