Feature request: automatically import top categories and tags from Steam, etc. This would greatly facilitate those of us itching to play a certain type of game, but cannot remember all of those owned that fall into the category desired. One could then search by tags for these characteristics. Inputting these by hand for hundreds of games is far too daunting of a chore.

I think it's a great idea to import tags from Steam, but the main issue is going to be whether or not the API wrapper I'm using supports it. I'll add it to my list of things to look into :D

To be honest, I like this idea. I typically use tags on Steam to add tags to the games on here.

Fingers crossed it works out! For the most part those tags are quite handy.

I found this site, http://www.lorenzostanco.com/lab/steam/, which does essentially what I requested, so it appears to be possible (at least, for their site). It would be handy to have this feature within Completionator though.

API Wrapper? You can easily query the store api of a specific game (you got the steamid) and get all the info displayed on their store pages. I think it's JSON format so you could grab it with an httpClient and serialize that.

But would be great if that info also was available :D

And, hmm, the page doesn't work for my profile.... is my library too large XD

@Marcelloz With that Steam Filters site you just have to wait a while, it will load eventually but large libraries take a bit to load in :) I always use that site to filter down to what I want to play next lol.
