One thing that's been on my list for a long time is to provide a breakdown of the points a user has earned here on Completionator. I was going to build something today and then I realized I should probably ask you guys what you'd like to get out of this report

Currently, there are four ways you can earn points:

• Posting on the forum
• Selecting a difficulty for a game
• Entering a rating for a game
• Entering a completion time

The first three are easy and I figured I'd just show something like "you've posted x times, which has earned you y points".

Entering completions is the tricky one, mainly because of bounties, which have bonus points tied to them. I could certainly give a breakdown of how many completions you've entered, plus how many bounties, and the total points + bounty bonuses. I'm wondering though if you should be able to get anymore granular than that, as in being able to see the exact bounties / completions.

Is there anything else you'd like to see out of this page?

I'm assuming that rating/marking a game's difficulty isn't some kind of itemized action, is it? My wording is shit as I can't explain it properly, but uh, I mean it's not treated the same way as say a Feed update item where every action is tracked individually before being tallied into your total points?

The reason I ask is I wonder if maybe having a bar graph outlining your point categories and sum total up top with a Points Feed below showing your most recently earned points sources might be a good layout for this page.

And no wonder I can never catch up. I didn't realize forum posts gave points, ha.

I was just talking about this in the RPG Club discord.

The leaderboard is such a cool idea. I feel bad for Moho though. Trying to fill out this idea puzzle everyone is making for him and it's gotta feel like the entire thing is just one solid color.

Still a billion times better than Backloggery.

Unfortunately, this page remains in limbo on my task list. Partially due to other tasks trumping it, but also because I think at some point the whole points / leaderboard system needs to be evaluated, but much we've done with other features as they mature.

Sounds good, figured that was the case, or that it was hidden somewhere hard to find. ;)
