What is the easiest way to manage an ordered queue of games that I want to complete? Is there an easy way to add games from my collection into such a queue?

The easiest way would be to create a stack. You can add any game to a stack and order them however you see fit. They're always editable, even if you publish them, which you may or may not want to do in this instance.

As a side-note, I've been noodling with a potential new feature that I've been referring to as "my playlist". I've recently tried to change my mindset such that I focus on one game at a time until I complete it (which is vastly different from the wackiness I used to do) and thought having a playlist to help me identify the next few games I'm going to play would be useful in keeping me on track. I have no idea where it would be plugged into the site (probably on the Profile page) and not sure where it will fall priority-wise on my task list (which is ginormous), but if you (or anyone else) have any thoughts, I'd be interested in hearing them

Playlist idea sounds neat. Me personally I need to focus on one game at a time. By making an ordered list, I could look at it and say once I finish this I can get to the second list on my game and maybe add some motivation.

I've been thinking some more about the playlist idea and I think it's something I'd like to use, but the key is to make sure this doesn't conflict with the existing Now Playing section on the Profile page (i.e. your active playthroughs). I think at the very least, if you complete a playthrough (i.e. add a completion for it), you should have the option to remove it from your playlist (similar to how you can remove it from your backlog and update the progress status). That would allow you to automatically take things off as you complete games, but you could always manually remove something if you decide not to play it or whatever. You shouldn't need to have a playthrough though in order to add something to your playlist because in many cases, you won't have a playthrough yet since you're not playing it.

Any thoughts on this?

I've just started using Completionator, so I don't have a strong opinion on your ideas yet, but thanks for looking into my comments!

What I can share is that these days I tend to try to bite off a big game (e.g. Morrowind) and then play it until I get burned out, then go off and beat a couple of smaller games (e.g. Quest for Glory 1 & 2, the original X-Com), then circle back (hopefully - that didn't work out with Fallout 4 because I fell behind on updating mods). This means that I generally have a bare minimum of 2 games going at once, and that's not counting the games I have going with my kids (Lego Pirates of the Caribbean on the Wii, Guacamelee on the HTPC, etc.).

I ended up building the playlist feature I mentioned above, so if you haven't done so already, check it out on your Profile page and let me know what you think!

I'm a huge fan of the Playlist feature -- is there any way it could be extended to optionally display more than one playlist on your profile page?

I'm envisioning a dropdown in the profile options to choose how many you want to display, maybe a range of 0-5 (if zero, don't even render the box, for those uninterested in it). Then on the edit screen of the Playlist itself, giving us the ability to add a title to each Playlist to differentiate between them.

Personally, I'd use them for keeping separate ranked list for "Home Console" and "Portable" games, but I'm sure others would come up with different reasons.
