I like both, though retro is generally somewhat easier to run due to lower system requirements. |

I totally agree with you Trar. On my old notebook I could run tons of old school games via emulators. But then needed to upgrade my laptop to play any of these modern game because they are alll like a hunderd gigs etc. |

Honestly I don't know if I can pick. Amazing games have come out in basically every console generation including my personal favorites, I'd honestly consider it even. |

I like both, but I have a big weakness for retro! Nothing beats the atmosphere and the pure gameplay of a DOOM Classic or a good old Final Fantasy VI. That said, some modern games like Diablo IV or Tekken 8 also captivate me.

Largely I like modern games, but I do appreciate that older games have a more cohesive story and experience that you are expected to complete. Ultimately, the better option depends on personal preferences. Some players enjoy the simplicity and nostalgic value of retro video games, while others are drawn to the technological advancements and complexity of modern games. The fact stays the same from an investment perspective as well Nostalgia – that warm, fuzzy feeling that washes over us when we stumble upon something that transports us back in time. Vintage fashion is like a magical time machine, whisking us away to moments long past and stirring up a whirlwind of emotions According to a new U.K. survey, 24% of Gen Zers now own a retro games console. Retro gaming is experiencing a revival thanks in large part to people born after the Game Boy era.An often unexpected reason I love retro video games is their simplicity. Many well-known retro titles like Super Mario World, Metroid, and Crash Bandicoot didn't start out with complex storylines, and the graphics technology of the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s was nowhere near what it is today. |
