NOTE: The whole point of the Development Updates forum is to bring potential site enhancements to the community to collect feedback. I can't guarantee every feature will be implemented or everyone's request will make it in, but I'll strive to include as much feedback as possible. If a feature makes it beyond the "idea" phase and I start working on it, I'll provide updates here, as necessary.

As I'm sure you all know, you can rate a game 1-10. I know this site isn't intended to replace Metacritic, IGN, Steam, etc, but do you all feel we need anything else in the way of ratings, reviews, and / or recommendations?

I really like the way Steam does their recommendations, but since so many of the games on here are from Steam, I'm not sure people are going to want to review in multiple places.

Given all that, I'm not planning on enhancing this feature anytime soon, but if the community speaks up, that plan could change!

I'd love to see games that I've finished and have no rating in a very quick and easy manner.

That's a great idea! The easiest way is to add a filter to the Collection Search page that let's you see games with or without a rating. I have another idea for making this even easier, but the filter will need to be in place for it to work. The other idea is one that's been a long time coming, but it will allow you to save filters so you can quickly apply them. I'll start a new thread at some point for it :)

Yeah, written reviews are something that I can personally live without but I could see that being something on here. I also want the ability to remove the rating on a game.

Do you mean that if you did, you'd be able to see the reviews written on Steam here as well?

I think that's a great idea and it should be pretty easy to implement. I'll add it to the list :D
