Description

The Suda games I have played, ranked in order of how great I think they are.

No More Heroes

Brilliant in so many ways from it's soundtrack to it's memorable bosses to the way it implements motion controls in a way that is fun and satisfying. The game that made me aware of Suda and one that never gets old playing through it.

No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle

A decent follow up to the original with one of the most incredible soundtracks in gaming. The bosses aren't all as memorable as in the first game but it's fun throughout and definitely has that Grasshopper flair to it.

Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes

A varied and fun indie game from a guy that really loves indie games, Travis Strikes Again is a departure from Suda that he absolutely puts his personality all over. It may seem excessive, but I enjoyed every last second of it and was sorry when it was over.

Killer Is Dead

Dripping with style and also a lot of fun, Killer is Dead turns the surreal dial to eleven and delivers one of the most bizarre seasons of anime I've ever played.

Lollipop Chainsaw

An absolute triumph in art design, Lollipop Chainsaw is a candy coated zombie killer that is always amusing and doesn't overstay it's welcome.

Shadows of the Damned

With it's chatty, funny leads and some pretty solid shooting mechanics along with the expected trippy imagery Shadows of the Damned succeeds in being weird despite it's publisher even if it is a far cry from Suda's original vision.
